New Business Ideas for 2021

• Check your standard terms and conditions – Is there a term in respect of claiming interest for late payment of invoices?
  • Know your Creditors – have you paid, disputed any invoices with your clients or suppliers?
  • Make a report of anyone that owes the business money – what are their reasons for not paying? Write them a letter to demand payment or negotiate a payment proposal with them.
  • If any of your debtors are companies – check on Companies House’s website to check the Company exists.
  • Considering that all individuals and businesses have experienced a hard year consider accepting a payment plan.
  • If you have not been able to resolve matters or the debtors have been ignoring any attempts of contact pass the matter to a Debt Collection Agency or solicitors.
